CHAIRPERSON
Kelley DeCourcy is a Senior Sociology here at
UMass Amherst. She works part-time at the University Bookstore as a Sales
Associate, and will be teacher assisting for Professor Robert Faulkner's
Corporate Crime (Sociology 347) class this fall. After stage managing the Guild's
Spring 2011 production of Cabaret, and serving as Secretary on the Executive
Board last year, she is excited and honored to spend her third and final year
with the Guild as its Chair.
MUSICAL
PRODUCER
Dan Squizzero ("Squizz" for short) is
a Senior double-majoring in History and Theater at UMass. He has enjoyed the
opportunity to serve the Theatre Guild in a few different capacities over the
last 2 1/2 years. He has performed in one play (Rock 'N' Roll) and three
musicals (Company, Cabaret, Children of Eden). During the Spring '12 Semester,
he directed the play "The House of Blue Leaves" and also was the
co-Tech Director for the musical "A Little Night Music." He is
looking forward to a fun and successful year as Musical Producer.
PLAY
PRODUCER
Joy Silvey is a sophomore Social Thought and
Political Economy major and Spanish minor here at the University. She has a
passion for foreign language and has considered entering the field of
translation upon graduation. Last year she became involved with the Theatre
Guild as a scenic artist for the productions of Almost, Maine and A Little
Night Music. This year she is thrilled to serve the Guild as Play Producer, and
looks forward to the challenges of taking on more responsibility within the
UMASS Theatre Guild.
SECRETARY
Kat Buckingham is a Senior at UMass majoring in
Social Thought and Political Economy. She is very grateful to have joined the
Guild after transferring to UMass in 2010, and has enjoyed working with this
incredible group of people over the past two years. She has performed in three
musicals - Company, Cabaret, and A Little Night Music - and was an assistant
stage manager for Children of Eden.
TREASURER
William Holt is a junior at UMass majoring in Legal Studies and Political Science. he is very grateful to have joined the guild after coming to UMass in 2010, and has enjoyed working with this incredible group of people over the past year. He has performed in one play - Farragut North - but helped with the construction of all the sets within the last year.
